Most of you who come into our store would have already met the lovely Nickie Mouncey who is the face of our shop! Working full time and running a family of four children, Nickie continues to amaze me with the fantastic projects she conjures up in her spare time (what spare time!!)
Nickie, like us is constantly inspired by all the gorgeous products that keep flooding the store, takes them home and the next day turns up with something like this!!
Nickie has used the small shadow boxes by Collections Elements, covered them in patterned paper on the sides, embossed fronts, added the Collections tree, birdhouse, birds & butterflies plus these gorgeous Prima Roses we have in that we sell individually.
This next project Nickie wizzed up at the Autumn Escape when she was given an Arrow Album for a challenge, she decided to make her cover into a house instead!! Check this out, this was so popular in the shop Nickie made it into a class...
Check out the cool Collections Street Lamp Nickie glazed with Dimensional Magic to resemble Glass!
and now my favourite of all......
We are lucky enough to stock gorgeous coloured metals from 10 Seconds Studio. We have split up the packs and are selling these by indiviual sheets. Nickie has used these to cover her Twiddleybitz Shadow Box, plus for the leaves & flower. Her large rose has tiny rosebuds in the center that again we sell in individual little packets, these have also been really popular.
Check out how awesome her Twiddleybitz opening gate has come out!! You would never know its chipboard! Nickie has made her metal rose using the Fiskars heart template (for the shapecutter), Collections new butterflies, trees & 2Crafty chipbord birdcage.
Here are some close ups:
Now, I'm sure you are all envious and want some of the projects for your house! As I write this we have two Twiddleybitz opening gates left in stock, these have been going like hotcakes! Don't despair because we will certainly be ordering more. We do have more shadowboxes left in stock, some coloured metals & Collections butterflies. We are out of the bare trees though but are ordering more next week.
Well, thats it for now. Hey have you checked out the Design Team's challenges over in the forum? They are having a Winter Warmer Competition but don't worry its not too late to join in! The second challenge has been posted HERE, I am off to make my example!!

Hi Lisa Wow wow and wow again! Wish I was down there for the class. Just my cup of tea! Gorgeous stuff Nicky.
